We love it when an already great collection branches out further! Vestre recently introduced a few new pieces to the Kinn family of outdoor furniture. Designed by Anderssen & Voll, the fresh chairs and tables were natural extensions of the collection.
“The vision with the new pieces in the series is to provide even more opportunities for furnishing outdoor environments and thereby expand the functionality for the Kinn family, regardless of the purpose of creating places for social gatherings or elegant oases relaxing or eating,” says Anderssen & Voll.
The contemporary outdoor furniture series is easy to move around and comfortable. Kinn is also well-suited to both residential and commercial spaces, made to stand up to extensive use and weather. The design of the furniture uses two parts: a simple, solid aluminum base and flowing wooden slats. It can easily be applied to different types of chairs, benches, and stools, giving Kinn room to grow.
Light and inviting with a robust, strong construction, Kinn’s wood comes from Scandinavian pines and sustainable forestry. Known to be hardier than other pines, it’s perfect for outdoor furniture and develops a stunning grey patina over time. The metal frame design is made using Hydro Circal, which uses at least 75% recycled aluminum – the proportion of recycled aluminum available on the market. That contributes to lower energy consumption, which is in line with Vestre’s sustainability goals.
